How to provide transport
|
Volunteer drivers provide transport for young people using Nightstop emergency accommodation. They offer lifts from the organisation referring the young person (aged 16-25), to their volunteer hosts for the evening, and back the next morning. All young people are assessed for their suitability for the scheme before being offered accommodation. Providing transport is a very practical way to help a young person needing accommodation in all of the areas we work in. Some of the journeys in Hambleton, Richmondshire, Ryedale and Scarborough are difficult by public transport.
