Nightstop Co-Ordinator in Ryedale & Scarborough

Ryedale & Scarborough Nightstop

We are pleased to announce the start of this brand new project!!
Ryedale Nightstop has been in existence for 5 years, but with the help of Ryedale District Council, 
Scarborough Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council we have been able to expand 
the Ryedale Nightstop into the coastal area of Scarborough.

If you are interested in volunteering as a host or driver in Scarborough please contact us on 
info@york-nightstop.org.uk We shall soon be able to take referrals in Scarborough as soon as our 
new project co-ordinator takes up her post!

Crash Pad.

Another brand new project!  Crash Pad is a project for young people ages between 16 and 17 who need some breathing space away from home.  A “Crash Pad” is the term given to a 6 week placement in the home of one of our trained SASH providers.

In the 6 weeks placement, the young person can expect help with independent living skills, mediation 
with trained professionals and support from a trained project worker who will help the young person 
& their family overcome obstacles which prevent the young person living at home.
This is a joint project between City of York Council, SASH & Foundation Housing.  For more
